Vincenzo Cardile was born in Sicily and completed his university degree in Florence. He practiced architecture in Nice (F) until 2001, when he moved to Luxembourg and first worked as media manager of the EU Publication Office. Then, leveraging his architectural skills, he worked for three years for the SNHBM building public company as an architectural photographer. After one year working in Digi SA fine art printing lab, where he gained skills in digital printing, he began working as a photographer in Naturpark Luxembourg in 2012 where he has since been employed. As a freelance photographer, his reports, performed for several Ngo’s, are made mainly in West Africa.

Vincenzo Cardile est né en Sicile et a poursuivi ses études universitaires à Florence. Après avoir exercé à Nice (F) en tant qu’architecte, il s’installe à Luxembourg en 2001, où il travaille d’abord comme responsable multimédia au sein de l’Office des Publications des Communautés européennes et, ensuite, mettant à profit ses compétences d’architecte, il réalise pendant trois ans des photos d’architecture pour la société publique SNHBM. Après avoir travaillé pendant un an chez Digi S.A., un laboratoire de tirages d’art, depuis 2012 il est photographe auprès des Parcs naturels du Luxembourg. En tant que photographe indépendant, ses reportages sont réalisés surtout en Afrique de l’Ouest. Il travaille exclusivement en lumière naturelle.
